Art Show at the Dog Show

Yeah! Submitted four photos and three got in. I'm especially pleased because I've never been in an "all dog" art show....plus it's all mediums. The show runs from the end of Feb-Mar in Kansas. Here's a couple one made it in. ~~ Melanie Snowhite

Another day, another dog

Here's a nice looking lab. Dogs really like their sticks don't they? I don't get it.

New Year

Well again I let way too much time pass between posts and one of my New Year's resolutions is to keep blogging!

The biggest news I have to share is I'm moving from Poway, to Julian, CA. I'll have a large in home studio to which I'm really looking forward. It's large enough to peremently set up my lights, plus room for printing and framing.

My work continues to grow, and 2006 was a very excitiing year for me. 2007 is already shaping up to be even more so I will be seeking gallery representation once I get settled. Meanwhile I do have a few shows scheduled. Anyway here's a few images that are my current favorites :) bye for now~~ Melanie

Shame on me!

It seems like forever since I made a new post. Life gets in the way sometimes :) Been busy working on some digital art projects. Congratulations to the new collectors of some of my favorite pieces: Night Mares , Near Dusk, Nez Perce Legacy and Ruby Slippers at the Spanish Village Gallery 21 show. I will be exhibitng there again September 14-29th with new work...so come see! Other upcoming shows include The Poway Center for the Performing Arts Oct 1-29th. Reception will be Oct. 6th. This will be an exciting show of both digital and photographic arts. The Digital Arts Guild has combined efforts with the Photo Arts Group to create a diverse collection of works, Multiple Universes--Reseeing Art, for you to enjoy. Bye fr now...I'll poat some photos of the past show a bit later! melanie
