Upcoming Exhibits

• I will be exhibitng again this year with the Photo Arts Group in the upcoming show. Spanish Village in Balboa Park. July 1-14th. Reception July 2nd at 7:30 p.m. Scripps Memorial Hospital Gallery July 6th- Sept.30. I'm working on the details for a couple more exhibits so stay tuned for more ~~Melanie

International Color Awards

May 8th-- I'm so excited! One of my images received first place in the professional Nature catagorey at the International Color Awards Boys Will Be Boys will be going on exhibit as well as made into a promotional poster, and appear in some photography magazines. It was an honor to be chosen by professionals from National Geographic, Getty, Fox, Vogue and so many others. I'm proud to be included in the ranks of some very talented photographers as well. The Miracle Project

On May first I had the opportunity to photographically journal a rehersal of The Miracle Project. Elaine Katz is the founder of the organization geared towards creating acting and theatrical programs for Autistic children. Also on hand was In Effect Films to document the rehersal. They have been working with Elaine for several months as they are making a documentry on Austism. The performance dates for the muscial will be May 21st and May 24th at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles. If you'd like to see more of the rehersal please visit my galleries.
